Instructions
Add almond flour, oats and arrowroot starch to bowl and give it a quick mix.
Add onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, paprika, salt, sesame seeds, nutritional yeast and the required amount of water and mix well.
Once the batter is ready, pour it in to a waffle iron and cook for a few minutes.
Serve warm with a side salad or sautéed vegetables.
Top it with non-dairy yogurt sour cream, if you prefer.
Notes
Rolled oats gives a nice texture to the waffles but if you do not like it, add oat flour instead.
You can switch the oregano with the herb of your choice. Just remember that dry herbs are potent, so a little goes a long way.
Nutritional yeast gives a cheesy flavor to waffle. Replace with parmesan cheese if you can consume dairy. It will still be delicious.
A side of salad or vegetables makes it a complete meal.
